3 Stages - Very high level

For experienced and fit cyclists. Many kilometers per day in difficult terrain that forces you to spend many hours pedaling. We recommend the previous night in Baga, to start the early route. Designed for those who don't have more days. Recommended baggage transfer option, to circulate more lightly.

Stage 1: Baga - La Seu d'Urgell 80 Km / 2.620 m+ / 2.740 M- / ***

Km asphalt: 19 Km / Km track: 50 Km / Km trail: 11 Km

Water: fountain at Coll de la Bena, in Josa de Cadí and in Cornellana, where it's important to stock up, because we won't find water again until Cerc.

Provisioning: stage without services of any kind at the foot of the route. It is advised to be self-sufficient.

Peoples: Baga, Josa de Cadí, Cornellana, Fernols, Cerc, La Seu d'Urgell.

Escape stretch: in case of bad weather or fatigue there are two options to cut the stage.

Stage 2: La Seu d'Urgell – Bellver 81 Km / 2.730 m+ / 2.390 M- / ****

Km asphalt: 8 Km / Km track: 65 Km / Km trail: 8 Km

Water: in Ansovell, Arséguel, The Querforadat and Montell, but not at the foot of the road.

Provisioning: in Arseguel (a 33 Km) we find the restaurant Ca la Llusa (pre-booking) and the Hotel Font del Genil bar-restaurant.

Peoples: La Seu d'Urgell, Allah, Ansovell, Cava, Arséguel, El Querforadat, Béixec, Montell, Bellver.

Escape stretch: in case of bad weather or accumulated fatigue, an option available.

Stage 3: Bellver - Baga 64 Km / 1.950 m+ / 2.170 M- / ****

Km asphalt: 23 Km / Km track: 41 Km / Km trail: 0 Km

Water: at Bellver de Cerdanya, refugios, Riu and Urus.

Provisioning: at the Cortals de l'Ingla shelters, Serrat de les Esposes and Rebost.

Peoples: Bellver by Cerdanya, Riu, Urús, Give, Baga.

Escape stretch: in case of bad weather or accumulated fatigue, two options.

4 stages - Medium-high level

More balanced proposal: 5ks are better distributed, elevations and stretches of technical difficulty. It allows you to enjoy the route more and have time to visit the villages at the end of each stage. It is recommended to hire the luggage transfer service.

Stage 1: Bago -Tuixent 53 Km / 1.745 m+ / 1.365 M- / ***

Km asphalt: 11 Km / Km track: 38 Km / Km trail: 4 Km

Water: fountain at Coll de la Bena, in Josa de Cadí and in Cornellana.

Provisioning: stage without services of any kind at the foot of the route. It is advised to be self-sufficient. In Coll de Bauma (Km 15) you can go down the track, to your left, towards the Hermitage of the Verge de Gresolet and the Refugi de Gresolet, where you can stock up (Attention! Are 2,5 km and 275 m of descent that then you will have to go back to the Coll de Bauma). In Molí de Fórnols (Km 48) there's a restaurant.

Peoples: Baga, Josa de Cadí, Cornellana, Fernols, Molí de Fórnols, Tuixent.

Escape stretch: Km 29, Josa de Cadí. In case of bad weather or fatigue you can easily reach Tuixent by the road, entering the village at the first deviation on the left.

Stage 2: Tuixent - Arséguel 57 Km / 2.020 m+ / 2.350 M- / ***

Km asphalt: 7 Km / Km track: 38 Km / Km trail: 12 Km

Water: it's important to bring supplies, because we didn't find water until Cerc.

Provisioning: it is advised to be self-sufficient. In Ales (Km 43) there's a bar-restaurant.

Peoples: Tuixent, Molí de Fórnols, Cerc, Allah, Arséguel.

Escape stretch: Km 43, Allah. In case of bad weather or fatigue, you can take the N-260 road and get off in the direction of Puigcerda, until the Arseguel crossing (Km 8) to go back 2 km to the village, or even Banys de Sant Vicen (Km 9). Attention! busy road.

Stage 3: Arseguel - Bellver 49 Km / 1.600 m+ / 1.430 M- / ***

Km asphalt: 8 Km / Km track: 36 Km / Km trail: 5 Km

Water: at El Querforadat, Montell, Nas and Pi, but not at the foot of the road.

Provisioning: at Martinet (Km 26 a 0,5 Km) where there's a bakery, bars-restaurants and grocery stores.

Peoples: Arséguel, El Querforadat, Béixec, Montell, Nas, Pi, Bellver by Cerdanya.

Escape stretch: Km 26, start of the track to Prat d'Aguiló i la Vall de Ridolaina. In case of bad weather or fatigue you can follow by the small road in the direction of Santa Eugenia de Nerell, continue by road towards Pi and take the track that leads directly to Bellver de Cerdanya.

Stage 4: Bellver - Baga 64 Km / 1.950 m+ / 2.170 M- /***

Km asphalt: 23 Km / Km track: 41 Km

Water: in shelters, in Riu and Urus.

Provisioning: you can supply in the refuges Cortals de l'Ingla (Km 11), Serrat de les Esposes (Km 20) and Rebost (Km 52).

Peoples: Bellver by Cerdanya, Riu, Urús, Give, Baga.

Escape stretch: in case of bad weather or fatigue. At the beginning of the stage (Km 2,6) you can continue towards Coborriu and, per track, up to Bor; by road you reach Pedra and Riu, linking to the km 27 of the route. Important: Don't go through the Vall d'Ingla, the Coll de la Trapa and the slopes of Serrat de les Esposes.
